The
Desert Plants Images Collection consists of 3 CDs filled with professional
quality, photorealistic clip art of desert plants. It has been designed
with the needs in mind of landscape architects, architects, graphics
artists and others who work with architectural and design visualization.
Each
digital file is in the universally recognized TIF file format. A meticulously
crafted alpha channel mask is included.
Crafting
alpha channels (sometimes called clipping paths, clip maps, or opacity maps)
like those you will find on this collection is a fine art in itself. We
take special pride in our graphics artists ability to create meticulously
crafted alpha channels that retain the fine and subtle details of the desired
object while cleanly removing the unwanted background. The end result is
that incorporating this imagery into your design is often as easy as importing
the file through your software, or selecting the object and placing it precisely
where you want it.
The
majority of this imagery has been derived from the American Southwest (including
Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, and California). This makes this CD
collection ideal for anyone who wants to capture the look and feel of arid
regions in their design visualization. Designers in the Middle East, Australia,
Africa, northern Mexico, and arid regions of South America will find much
to use in this digital image collection as well. Mutiple representations
of some species are also included, to allow for greater variety.
This
3 CD Volume collection will be released throughout 2000 - 2001.
