Each image is a .TIF file (LZW compressed) with an embedded alpha channel mask/clipping path/opacity map. Note: For these files to open properly in Photoshop, make sure to save them to your hard drive with the .TIF (not .TIFF) extension. If you have trouble getting rid of the black background behind each image, see FAQ for assistance. These free downloadable textures files are provided so you can see for yourself the quality of our imagery. And, so that you test our texture maps and imagery in your design visualization software to guarantee that they will work for you.
